Arlington's Refinishing Process.

We invite you to speak with other contractors that refinish tubs. You'll notice that our product & process is different from everyone. This is because our product and process was designed by us, for us. NO ONE else has what we have!

 

Other installer's purchase an off the shelf product that just doesn't compare.

 

Our refinishing process involves the use of silicon-based epoxy enamel. This enamel has been formulated specifically for refinishing, and because it was designed for bathtubs and ceramic tile, it can withstand the abuse these items take on a daily basis.

 

The process works like this. The areas are cleaned, smoothed and etched, allowing the newly applied enamel to interlock with the existing surface. Once prepared, six coats of enamel are applied. This building process creates a durable, high-gloss finish. As the enamel dries, it fuses with the original surface creating an impermeable bond. When completed, your newly refinished bathtub or ceramic tile will be dry to touch in 24 hours, and to allow for proper curing, the bathtub cannot be used for five days after refinishing.  See the Care and Maintenance Guide.
